Q. Is a Paypal account required?
A. A Paypal account is required if you choose to use Paypal's recurring payments. This is because Paypal's recurring uses subscriptions for monthly/yearly payments, which requires an account on Paypal.
Q. Do I need to link a credit card to my Paypal account?
A. Paypal requires a linked credit card if you choose to use recurring payments.
Q. How long does it take before my payment is received?
A. Depends on the payment type:
- Payments with Paypal bank account may take 5-15 days to process. All other payments with Paypal are immediate.
- Payments with bitcoins requires at least 10-30 minutes to process. (Requires at least three (3) confirmations on blockchain)
Q. I [accidently] closed the window/tab before I paid. How do I pay?
A. Click HERE for paying with Paypal. For paying with bitcoins, deviantART Note DeathShadow--666 for info.

A. Yes. You'll have to cancel the current paypal subscription (see below on how), then use this form to change the payment frequency, then send a deviantART Note to DeathShadow--666. Q. How do I cancel the bot hosting service?
A. On Paypal recurring billing, Click Here.
- On all billings: deviantART note DeathShadow--666.
- Cancelled bots will continue to run until the date of the next payment, if was cancelled early.
- Unless you send a new note to DeathShadow--666 and request to stop running your hosted bot(s) early.
Q. Does my submitted registration expire?
A. Registrations will expire if payment is not received within seven (7) days of submission. If your registration expired and you still want deviantART's chat network Bot Hosting, please contact DeathShadow--666 by deviantART note and send the payment using this page. If you did pay and the bot still isn't up by two (2) days after the payment should've been confirmed paid, contact DeathShadow--666 by deviantART note.
Q. Why is the bitcoin payment option N/A?
A. If the BTC for one (1) month payments fall below 0.0001 BTC the option is automatically disabled, but will be re-enabled when it goes back above 0.0001 BTC. Bitcoin payment option can also be disabled for other reasons as well.
Q. Why would anyone need someone to host a deviantART's chat network Bot for them?
A. Because not everyone can host their own bot or leave their computer on 24/7.
Q. Why ain't I allowed to use my own account for the bot?
A. Because it's not secure, especially if you have admin or moderator privileges in any chatrooms. The bot is also hardcoded to not allow commands from itself, which means if you use the same username as your own, you can't use any commands on the bot.
Q. How long does it take before the bot is online?
A. Allow up to two (2) days after payment is received and confirmed paid. If you did pay and the bot still isn't up by two (2) days after the payment should've been confirmed paid, contact DeathShadow--666 by deviantART Note.
Q. If I want access to the bot's logs, how do I get them?
A. Check the proper box in the registration form. You may request it later by sending a deviantART Note to DeathShadow--666. The link, username, and password will be sent by deviantART Note.
Q. How long does it take before I can access the bot's logs?
A. You should be able to access the logs after the bot is online. If requested later, allow up to two (2) days after requesting.
Q. Do I have full access to the bot?
A. Not really. You have semi-full access to the bot. The only things that you don't access to are direct access to the files (no viewing, editing or adding files) and commands that could be a security risk to the server (such as the eval command).
Q. How can I add custom modules to the bot?
A. deviantART Note DeathShadow--666. Custom modules must be approved before it will be added to bot. Include Bot's Username and Custom module's description and link in deviantART Note.
Q. Will there be other bot types to choose from?
A. At the moment, Only Contra are available. But other bot types might be considered if the bot meets specific criterias.
Q. How many bots am I allowed to request to be hosted on this service?
A. ∞. There is no limit on how many you want hosted on this service. However, each bot must have their own registration form filled and must be paid separately.
Q. How long do you keep bot logs after I cancel the bot hosting?
A. Bot logs will be kept available for a week. After that, the logs will not be available to be viewed from the site.
Q. HELP! I'm getting 403 (forbidden) errors when I try to submit my registration!
A. This may be caused by the website's strict security. Things that could trigger an false positives is if you use more than one # in any of the fields. If none of these works, deviantART Note DeathShadow--666.
Q. My question isn't answered here, how do I get my question answered?
A. deviantART Note DeathShadow--666 with the question or ask it on the Official Bot Hosting journal on deviantART.
